Using the characterful function room as a backdrop for folk inspired experiments.
A M O K # 2 features works of improvisation, songs and sound/performance poetry.
Focusing on words as sounds, sounds as words, the abilities of the voice and spontaneity.
Featuring Federico Reuben, the Legendary Trevor Wishart, Pac-Man Eats Ghost, Morag Galloway and works by Jackson Mac Low.
Concert starts at 7pm.

A M O K is run not for profit, all ticket proceeds will go to performer/composer expenses and venue hire.
A M O K is a new experimental music platform. We hire the venue, choose composers whose work we believe in, and organise a platform for them to share their music, experiments and ideas.
A M O K # 1 features York composers and performers and composers and performers from outside York, including; Roger Marsh, OUT-TAKE Ensemble, Ben Jameson, Desmond Clarke, João Pedro Oliveria, and many others.
A M O K # 1 features music of intimacy, chaos and outrage.
